First of all, it was a joke. Kimmel keeps saying "Our apologies to Matt Damon...." as a joke because Kimmel didn't at that point get stars as big at Matt Damon on his show. So he was being self-deprecating.

I read about this and Kimmel claims it was a joke but Matt Damon never confirmed it, meaning this could PROBABLY be real.

I'm going to try to get the good Sara to sing for him outside his studio to make it up to him. This girl sang on Broadway with Carol Burnett and I thought it would be good for her to go sing for Jimmy as "The Good Sara" She remains unconvinced that this would be a good thing but I think Kimmels people need to give this one a listen. If any of Kimmels people should read this, contact me in NYC, it could be good for all involved.

I think it was real. Do a search for Sarah Silverman I'm $#$%^^ing Matt Damon. I guess he got revenge so this must be real.
