These Jaguars aren't very small, they seem average sized, and definately larger than the peccary.....twice her weight I would guess. Also, this is a female peccary....the males are larger and stronger, and would have been even tougher in a fight.

I have seen big boars on pig farms before though and I think they could probably kill dogs and people if they want. But your right a large wild boar is a force to be reconed with

Well, the pig does have some pretty big sharp teeth and speed. That combined with an aggressive attitude is a formidable foe for a jaguar (no carnivore wants to get injured cause they can't hunt).

is see jaguars often in my country but in flordia they call them panthers witch is kind of stupid.
