music is one thing... but culture/political/religion are different matter.. Like many Muslims would frown upon Nation of Islam members who constantly call themselves "Muslims", or Christians with Jehovah Witnesses.. Tho to an outsider it may be said that religions too evolves but to the orthodox it is touching their very nerve center.. Same for the original Skinheads vs the Boneheads...

i dont mean to say that they arent, i just mean to say that music evolves into different music and thats how they got their genre in the first place so its not cool to hate on people for "distorting" styles because thats how we get new kinds of music

I was pissed at the yank remark not because i am an american, but simply because everyone is always blaming other cultures and making scapegoats out of everything, when in actuality the cure and bauhaus "distorted" other musical genres to create their own in the first place. and if you had given them the chance, just like every other genre, they would have ruined it on their own!! will watch that movie thanks
