yeah and besides, when a string breaks, it doesn't completely snap in half, it usually just "pops" , where it's only hanging on by a thread, and usually near the bridge.

yeah dude... speaking of that.. the first string i broke.. the high e ( electric guitar) snapped and hit my hand and i began bleeping.. i mean i was totally shocked man!!

omg, that would be horrible.. i hate when normal strings snap.. but those.. you would probably need stitches lmao
