I saw this production, and it was INCREDIBLE. Since you didn't actually see it, I really don't think you have ANY basis to say it was bad. And Little Sally was brilliant, conidering how young she was. I really doubt that she was "nowhere near as good", but then again I suppose I'd have to see yours to be able to make that choice, something I don't think you took the time to think about.

My school (Elizabeth College, in Australia) is putting on Urinetown at the moment, and I have to say, I loved it so much; but this production seems badly done, and badly cast. Little Sally is nowhere near as good as ours (I know, but in this case it's actually true) and Lockstock...well, let's just say I'm in love with our lockstock, so that's hardly the point. I don't know, maybe because I'm friends with all the cast that means I'm biased, but I think ours was better. Much better. But anyway.

The set design is pretty much spot-on. The speed of dialogue-delivery and musical tempo, however... not so much.
