Yes sir! I've been flying with PMDG 747 and you're right about the difference between FSX default and PMDG. The thing is I rarely loose on runway centerline perfectly..thats why I feel its more challenging..

if youre using default fsx aircraft, you dont know nothing, because they arevery unreal. try to land pmdg 747-400 with visual procedure.

the difference between this and fsx is that, This, you only have on shot at keep your azz and the rest of the 300 or so real live, "fleshy" grafix behind you well intact, but uhmm u can 'always press the reset button' for a quick fix on FSX :)

Exactly but I don't know much about cessna and I've never flown it to JFK. I've been flying 747 and 380 for long time and I did most of the landing on runway 13L and 13R. So you can say I'm kida master on landing on runway like this including Hong Kong's Kai Tak, that's why doesn't feel so challenging. But still this challenging and I agree with you all. Thanks for all those comments.

What is challenging (and I've actually flown the MD11 into JFK 13L) is that it's purely visual, with no electronic glide slope, and not even a proper VASI... It's as though you're flying a Cessna 152 again, but you've got upto 491,000lbs of jet instead and the runway is rather short if you over shoot..

You guys are all right! This is very challenging because there's Canarsie island...

I imagine you're saying that tongue in cheek, right?
jayhelldee (July 13, 2008 at 6:12 pm)
its challenging because its not FSX! |
