Fat chance on the meteor. We are going to have suffer many more years of Justin Timberlake duetting with Fiddy Cent and other jack-offs. Too bad for Long John. I don't think one station played a tribute at the time of his passing with the exception of 'As It Happens' by CBC.

Agreed. When did you ever hear Captain Beyond on the radio or John Baldry. Or they'll play just a band's big hits like Born to be Wild but none of Steppenwolf's other stuff. What really pisses me off they're putting rap bands into the Hall of Shame but not the Moody. Blues, Steppenwolf or Grand Funk Railroad. I hope a meteor hits that place.

What pisses me off is all of the F'ing "Classuck Rock Stations" only play their list and completely leave out a whole slew of top bands from the 60's and 70's. When was the last time you heard 'Love Is Like Oxygen' for something completely different?

That's the problem with music today. There's nothing political like this to make an actual statement. It's all this whiney ass "hominy how how" shit modeled after Hootie And The Blowjobs that only whines and says absolutely nothing. Things may have been bad back then but at least there was a generation that would speak up about it!
