Without a doubt that is Sicily DZ. I have seen that DZ many times when I was with Division. I was with B 1/504 from 98-02, the best years of my life looking back on it. I made friends you only find once, I miss you guys, you know who you are.

right you are, when in harms way, americans are really one, the branch boasting mostly from combat wannabes. Nam vet 70-72

One other thing to all the gung ho marines posting on this site, get your own vids, lol. No marine outfit ever did what the airborne did in WW2, taking a defended beach is tough but landing behind ememy lines is tougher, an we didn't loose all the lives needlessly like you did in the pacific to make some admiral or gen famous, what useless bullshit. The airborne is still the most effective fighting unit in the world. HOO HAW. RVN 70-72

To the Marines, I served around some of you hard drivers in Nam. No one can take anything away from ya'll. I was airborne an am still proud of it, i did try to join the marines but they found out my parents were married. Hoo Haw, lol. |
