yeah well it transformed my attitude towards meditation. I used to be stressed with the very practice of any type of meditation. the way of zen just changed that. i dont see a meditation as a stressful thing anymore. by the way, i dislike mantra meditations. the best meditation i ever did was a type of listening meditation. i just sat and listened with no aim and no technique involved and i eventually felt relaxed and calm. the weight of stress was lost and my mind was silent. ill send u a vid

thanks... ill check it out.
do u think this could help relieve these symptoms? basically the meditation i was "taught" was thinking a mantra over and over in my head for 15 minutes twice a day.

you're not meditating.
please download the audiobook the way of zen and listen to it...it'll change your life. i had similiar issues but after listening to that all that talk about 'blissful' meditation made sense.

i meditated for the first time 10 months ago, and my life has been a living hell ever since... ive had horrible pains in my head, as well as a constant pressure and a crackling, crunching sensation. i was totally healthy before i meditated... do a google search on "kundalini symptoms" before you decide to try meditation. i learned the hard way.

meditation is a tool. one can be a better loving person by doing it. the book "the power of the subconscious mind" by Dr. Joseph Murphy avers this truth about our inner self. mantra meditation is one form of meditation, meditation on light, sound, form of Jesus, Krishna, symbols or formlessness are different types with different levels of difficulty. the benefactor is the meditator and the benevolent is the one God called Isha, Allah, Tao or Eshwara in different languages.
