btw. - The history is written by the winners... and you should realize that "the history" you learn in USA is different from one you can learn in Russia... i dont mean the basic facts -> they are the same, but their interpretation is very diferent - for example - occupation of one country may be liberation in another the fact is that army entered foreign contry and stayed there for some time...

over 400,000 Americans died in world war 2, Our death toll may be significantly less than the soviet union but it was still a death toll gained from assisting your country in a war we weren't responsible for. I have ancestors who died in that war and I wonder how they would react to your complete and utter lack of gratitude towards the life they lost assisting your country.
