Love those weird foreshortened "streets" in the background! This is the one and only Olympic Theater in Vicenza, Italy ... designed by Palladio in 1580.

Guess it's just a matter of preference. For me, the vibrato helps convey the poignancy of this aria. And I'm not always wild about her vibrato.

Cecilia Bartoli is my favorite,but not in this song.Vibrato can be singers worst enemy.
