I think it's difficult to judge current-day gymnasts to those of Nadia Comaneci's era in the uneven bars, because the apparatus has changed so much. Nevertheless, these girls were better, but then the drugs laws were much more relaxed. Poor Olga Korburt didn't go through puberty until she was about thirty

hard to compare two gymnasts from two totally differenct eras. the standard for what's considered great gymnastics now is quite different from that of Nadia's era.
