no the Bible says for all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God. Rom 2:23 the Bible also said that If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us through jesus Christ our Lord. No sin is too big for God to forgive if you'll only repent and ask him to come into your heart and save you.

Comparing music like that to American idol IS a joke. They're not making music anymore coz the artist thought he need to express that but coz some producer thinks it's what we want to hear. So now all music is about getting laid and not about deeper stuff that really moves people. Ugly can be beautiful too, sadness is part of life and there's plenty of pain to go around. Johnny Cash says it all in every note he sings.

You know, listening to Johnny's voice in this song really drives home the fact that a great singer's voice isn't always 'beautiful" (say, by American Idol standards), but powerfully relevant to the song being sung. That's the magic of the Cashes and Dylans of this world. You just believe Johnny's message in this song.
