Ah, I must humbly point out one thing that both of you forgot! A Barrett .50 round (or any long range round) cannot travel its maximum distance at the ballistics definition of point blank! ~.^ To get a distance of 7000 yards with a Barrett .50 the gun would have to be arched so much it would almost be nearing vertical. That said at a level angle it would still go pretty far, but it looks like they are in a safe area. Im sure they knew what they were doing.

Not on first shot for sure if the 30-06 couldn't. But it looks like if you shoot a couple of times at the same area of the glass it will eventually go through.

its only dangerous if you breath in particles of DU dust, unfortunatally, if you shoot a DU round, you tend to get dust.... there is very little risk when just hanfling DU ammo. Sorry if you already knew all this :)

why bother with those? get steel plate that thick and see if it can go through... i think only armorpiercing 50cals stand a chance... but that was for fun eh, gj...
