I recon you have to enjoy it for what it is! Just the same as you can enjoy "6 million ways to die" that old drum and bass tune without going on a mass genocide flex. I always thought this tune was about some kind of deserted structure floating in space, not sure it's this mix but in one there's distinct alien noises panning from left to right. Guess everyone interprets tunes differently!
