sometimes they would give them to other people who could take care of the pets for them, and alot of the time the families were taken from their homes without warning so the pets, alot of the time, probably had to be left on their own :(

not sure bout concentration camps thing but people round that time of course had rationed food and stuff so couldn't afford to keep pets or cause of lack of meat probable even ate them. And if by some chance they did keep the pets i reckon whoever was taking the people away would have shot them or not bothered to shut the door and the pet escapes and dies cause it has nothing to eat i feel sorry for those pets now
