Stick to the basics -- drunk or not -- she's brilliant. Such passion and commitment. You've just got to love her.

I have most, if not all, of the soundtrack on my iPod. This soundtrack hits me where I live. I love "You Could Drive a Person Crazy".

this is the most incredible performance i have ever seen. Listening to her on the soundtrack is one thing, but seeing her do it, is completely different. She's incredible. That seriously just changed my life. I never really got the sorrow in the song until now. I'm speechless. Utterly speechless.

Drunk or not--and an alcoholic normally is--Stritch is phenomenal here.

I am reading The Label: The Story of Columbia Records by Gary Marmorstein. He says that Stritch had been drinking champagne all day and was drunk by the time the song was being done. Did Pennebaker edit reality for the sake of a more dramatic, more heroic version of events?

I remember watching this in 1970. I bought the album and drove my family crazy playing it over and over. Just a month ago my sister heard "Bobby Baby" on the radio. She called me and we laughed about my "Company" craze...lol.

Oh boo, people like Sondheim and Stritch might be once-in-a-generation talents, but I certainly hope that you aren't saying that Broadway right now is a talent wasteland.
