haha, i'm a beginner at dan bau and i want to learn how to play so that the sound can be as gentle as that. sometimes my notes sound kind of harsh, especially when i play faster songs.

oh no. I literally just ordered it last night. Do you mean the tone isn't good enough for performance? And I emailed saigonstrings and they said the sound depends on the pickup/amp.

The foldable one from saigonstrings is no good unless you are just trying this out. i have it and the difference is that it is a lot thinner and not as good of tone. send them an email and ask for prices on electric dan bau. they do have some good dan bau but the fold-up is not that good in sound quality. Pham Duc than's is custom and high quality. another place to get is thanhcammusic (.) com. they also have bamboo model. if you want an expensive custom dan bau then you can send them an email.

Hi I was thinking about ordering the foldable electric one from SaigonStrings too. Can you tell me what the difference is with yours and Duc Thanh's?
Thanks for answering!
