1. Chi (or Ki) does exist, just not in the form that you'd expect it to. I suggest you read some of Pavel Tsatsouline's books.
2. There are many schools and forms of Kung Fu, all are different and all have different hand gestures and the like.

It's true. For anyone who doesn't believe, next time your at the gym, try using a technique known as "power breathing", I gaurentee that weight you're stuck on will be launched into the air (metaphorically speaking).

Having many weapons in arsenal never gaurentees a win.
"A street fighter who has mastered 1 or 2 moves can beat a Karate Black Belt [or Kung fu Master] who knows 10 different ways to block a punch" ~ The Naked Warrior by Pavel Tsatsouline
Its not about how many techiques you have but how you use and master them. Its what combines the Martial (meaning "of or relating to war") to the art.

Chi has been tracked with heat detectors, it was done on a shaolin monk and the heat was immence and you saw it travel from his lower abdoman to his arms.

ofcourse Qi exist. Only people not sensitive can say "not exist". Mind controll Qi flow. So if you say yourself "not exist" you will not feel anything. That's your wish. :)

chi does not exist. and the hand movement done at the end would be considered offensive in my old kung fu school

Finally someone who agrees with me!
Theres over 1500 different styles ov Kung Fu, many of which beat almost every martial art

no art is better than any other, just more tailored to certain situations... only the fighters are better... i.e., a karate guy who also happens to be a combat-trained force-recon veteran could probably drop a kung fu black belt who trains in a dojo against other kung fu guys... the point is, experience and killer instinct is what distinguishes most fighters on the streets, not the art... |
