It's the dunlop jimi hendrix octave fuzz that was made in the 90's, but they also use the blue box too. There's a great site for sonic youth gear somewhere on google.

maybe! but i dont thik so, maybe the settings are diferent to the tipic octave pedal.
but i get a nice feedback with alot of gain and a big amp
