An honorable interpretation, but the piece is both cute and sexy. Gwen Verdun straddles the fence, doing "cute" for Ray Walston and then "sexy" to show him how she'll make Joe tumble. In another YouTube video, Valerie Wright sizzles the sexy side, but still gets in some cute. In this one, the problem is being on stage with only a mike and a piano; no dance to show off her, ahem, assets. Being sexy alone, behind a mike and in front of a piano is no joke: not everyone is Peggy Lee (smile).

i liked the way it sounded, but the song is sexy not cute. it just screams, IM HOT don't you want to do me? so i understand it's not being performed in the context of the show, but the lyrics suggest too much to make it cute in my opinion

Everyone who is singing in this room isn't reacting to the other person in the scene. It's all presentational. Where's the beautiful art of acting? You sound good, very vanilla...but create a story!!!!
