Rocket is a great song! Def Leppard is amazing. and the Hysteria album was the best album they put out.

om a big deff leppard fan and this is one of my most favorit songs of all of the histiera album!!! I mean its so awsome i allso like rocket thats a cool one!! :D

Yeah I'm okay with Mellancamp. But the funny thing about that is, how many hits has he had compared to Leppard? I'm guessing he has maybe half as many. Again that's purely a guess. That right there should tell you the induction criteria is seriously flawed. I hear you in regards to TLC and or Mariah. God help us all!!

I'm not really about defending the HOF. Mellenhead I sort of understand, but yeah Madonna is a real stretch. They better not admit TLC or god help us all, Mariah Carey.

Yes the style of music and dress has a lot to do with it. That and how many asses you kiss along the way helps too. Def Leppard have always been their own band. They do the things THEY want to do. They don't care about what the critics say about their music. If they cared they would have continue to put on albums like Hysteria. The RNRHOF is a joke. I mean look at it. Madonna and John Mellencamp are both in it. If Madonna is RNR I'm Bill Gates.

Style of music and dress? I guarantee Alice in Chains and Metallica will be in the HOF, and they are also long-haired guys who play metal rock. Def Leppard were enough above the hair metal idiots to deserve some respect, but they still walked a real fine line and frequently stepped over it. Great singer and guitar player, though. Animal, Hysteria, and Photograph all have similar chorusses. Hard rock has to have some pop in it, but when there is more pop than rock, you are done. Simple.
