In fact I was! To my opinion the size of a stage doesn't say anuthing about the quality of the music performed on it.
New Cool Collectives performance was marred by a bad amplification. Besides they played out of tune and their show was not really tight. Dixieland Crackerjacks play more than 200 shows a year, that's why their band is much more together musically. They have the best bass-saxofonist on earth and the best female jazztrombone player!

You obviously weren't here to see it for yourself otherwise you would have known that the New Cool Collective Big Band was THE highlight of 2007. This band played on the smallest stage, New Cool Collective on the biggest and it was the finale for the 2007 jazz festival.

This is THE band!

From what I hear on the video's, this was by a distance the very best band at the Breda festival 2007. At last a BAND and not an at random collected line of some individuals trying to play some tunes together. |
