Thank you.. I really needed to hear that. I was just thinking..Why not wrap the base of every machine in some unique adhesive seal? Glad to hear they are taking precautions. I hope there is at least a nationwide memo to voting authorities that warns of this though, just to make sure. It wouldn't cost anything to mass email a warning.

Having worked the last election where these machines were used along with the old.....NO WAY IN HELL can this occure "in the real world". The security seals, tapes, double keys in sealed envelopes, etc. Just because 3 computer experts took a month to do this on a "captured" machine does not mean in the real world this can occure. Be brave and voluteer to get trained and work an election. You'll get your eyes opened.

Yike that's the type of voting machines i have to cast my vote on.

What is so surprising about this information??
If some punk teenager can hack into secure FBI C.I.A. computer files, then surely hacking into this lame, $150 voting machine is as easy as boiling an egg.....

Yes, they explain, in detail, exactly how to create or otherwise obtain the virus.

Time to go back to the old paper ballots, eh? Seems less fallible.

Will we have a third election in a row where the results are questionably dubious ... at what point will we get angry enough to make sure that such fraud that cuts to the heart of our democracy never happens again! |
