RAW, GUTSY, HEARTFELT, GOSPEL!!!! CHAKA IS SOOOOOO BADD!!! And I truly believe that Chaka is singing under the "anointing" of GOD just as Karen does when she sings this song. She is singing from HER experiences and testimony in her life. All of us come to God and express our spirituality in different ways and the fact that she is giving honor, thanks, and praise is what is important!

Chaka is just fearless and can sing anything. If I'm not mistaken this was aired live. Chaka did justice to Karen's song coz she sang her own version of it. She simply 'Chakanized' it!

this is a beautiful and touching song. Chaka's rendition is stirring an touching. When she wails on those top notes I had to get up on my feet. I love Chaka. I also love Karen's, which gave me chills from the moment she sang the first note. Karen's delivery was a true and honest testimony that took me to a secret place.

Um..I hate to disagree and all..but you're 13 kinds of wrong. Chaka's been through a lot and she's always said that God helped her through it all. This is one of her purest performances in my opinion. She's singing from over 30 years of reflection. You're more concerned about who's hitting the notes..learn why she's singing the song and understand what it means to her.
