Yes on the first part, it puts everyone on the same level, but it does not ignore laws. That's a common misunderstanding. It just puts the laws on the people's level, not on the elite's. It is hard to explain briefly. The ignorance of God is not a part of anarchism, as long as it does not allow other authorities (i.e the church) to exist. I think they are trying to say that power corrupts people, i.e if a man becomes an authority, he will not necessarily use the power to help the people.

I don't know the theory so well. Pardon my ignorance, but doesn't anarchism put everybody in the same level, also ignoring God and laws? This particular part you mentioned, for me, means that one in such a powerful position (a great banker, f.e) will make people suffer due to his man-like sense of justice and lack of honesty. My english might not be that good. I'm brazilian you know.

Well maybe you're right. I know the whole theory of anarchism, being an anarchist myself. I was thinking of the first part of the song; "You take a mortal man, put him in control, watch him become a god, watch people's heads a roll." But you're right, they don't have to be true anarchists just to have that opinion.

I don't think the lyrics are anarchists. In theory, anarchism is quite different. I would say the lyrics are just some critical analysis over humanity and politics. Not everyone that doesn't follow the media standards of political view are anachists though.

metallica megadeth and iron maiden are my favorite 3 bands. this song rocks

I love the lyrics, the whole song. Are they anarchists, considering that the lyrics are kind of anarchistic? If so, they are even better.

lol i like to read your comments. 95% of them are pure stupidity. Grow up music is music and wether you like it or not Dave Mustaine was in metallica so metallica fans shouldnt hate. This is wonderful music, i like metallica more, but thats just cause ive been raised on metallica but over all megadeth is excellentt :) expecially songs like holy wars and united abominations as well as peace sells. all favorites :)
