I attended a swim camp for adults at the local Y and met Rowdy Gaines in 2001. Afterwards he gave us autographs. Shortly after the 9-11 disaster occured. I tried to put my autograph on EBAY to raise money for victims and wouldn't you know it, RG contacted me! He ended up sending me some more pics and we raised about $100 for Ebay/911 victims. The heart of a champion and an American Legend!
