Really talk about dated...yikes...the music?Yikes!Thank God docudramas have come a long way. There is some shred of truth in it & I think they shredded it for all time.Don't you think if we are going to plug in for pleasure we'll want more than an AC adapter?I do.:)

I also remember being made to watch this film when I was in school.Discussion of the singularity has made me search for it.For the longest time no one knew what I was talking about and I thought I dreamed it.Thanks for giving me my sanity back. And in the words of Mr. Solo:"Where did you dig up that old fossil?" (see next post...ugh!)

I vividly remember being shown this documentary in school 36 years ago when I was 12. For some reason watching recent events makes me remember some of the things I saw in it. Robot bank tellers (ATM's?!) and gay weddings. Makes one wonder... anyway, where can I find the rest of the film?

I love Future Shock. It's the best movie and the best book of all time!!!!!!

Grab a completely false and senseless idea, make it a movie and get a respectable narrator to legitimate it... This the 70's version of An Inconvenient Truth...

Actually, I suspect we'll be in a Wal*Mart world. |
