In England BBC-2, the thoughtful, documentative sister channel to BBC-1: think PBS, did a special on drugs going down at concerts. They showed footage of this open air festival and played about 15 minutes of Stillwater's Sam's Jam and I was hooked! (not on the drugs). They also showed Sea Level. Somewhere in the 77-79 range. I also had it played on british National Radio on a rock show! Great stuff. Johnny

Bobby Golden and Alison Scarborough were teachers at my school in 1982-1983. Northside Junior High School in Warner Robins Ga. They both had short hair.
I saw Stillwater perform last night (Saturday, May 17, 2008) at the perry airport in a hanger.
They can still rock. Bobby was not there last night. But Alison was up on stage singing and playing bass. His hair is now totally grey and in a long ponytail down his back. He is just a wee bit pudgy now, but I recognized him immediately.
