Chris Bosh had 38 points and 14 rebounds, and the Toronto Raptors beat Portland 116-109 in double overtime Sunday to hand the Trail Blazers their second loss in 19 games. Bosh, who played 55 minutes, scored six points in the second overtime to lead Toronto to its third straight victory. Brandon Roy had a career-high 33 points and 10 assists for Portland, and made a 3-pointer with 2 seconds left in the first overtime that tied the game 104-104. Anthony Parker finished with 25 points for Toronto and Jose Calderon added 22 points and 10 assists to help the Raptors recover after blowing a six-point lead in the final two minutes of regulation. Two free throws by Bosh gave Toronto a 93-89 edge with 23 seconds left in the fourth quarter, but Jamario Moon fouled Travis Outlaw on a 3-pointer and Outlaw converted from the line, tying it at 93 with 16.6 seconds remaining. Bosh drove for a game-winning basket, but his layup attempt was unsuccessful. A 3-pointer by Calderon gave Toronto a 104-101 lead with nine seconds to go in the first overtime, but Roy rebounded Outlaw's miss and drained a 3-pointer. Bosh drained jump shots on Toronto's first two possessions in the second overtime and Calderon and Parker each made a pair of free throws to help the Raptors finally seal the win. Leading 84-77 at 3:33 of the fourth, Toronto might have finished it off when Calderon connected with Moon on an alley-oop, but Calderon was called for a charge. Portland's Martell Webster responded with a 3-pointer, cutting it to 84-80. Roy had seen his playing time limited in Portland's past two games because of a sore right knee and a bruised tailbone. But the NBA's reigning rookie of the year shone in this one, racking up 18 points by the half and making all five of his free throw attempts. Outlaw had 18 points, Channing Frye 16 and Jarret Jack 12 for the Trail Blazers, who opened a seven-game road trip by losing for just the second time in their past seven away from home. Jack made a long 3 at the halftime buzzer to cut Toronto's lead to 49-47 at the intermission. Notes: Jack started in place of Steve Blake (left calf). ... The Blazers were in the midst of a 13-game winning streak when they beat Toronto 101-96 Dec. 19.

What were fans saying about Roy when he hit that 3 to send it into double OT?

Exactly, I've watched the Raptors everygame for years and this was by far one of the most entertaining Roy would not give up everytime i thought it was over Roy prevented it, And as its already been pointed out Portland has an amazing team its going to be a toss up whether they'll gel well but I'd assume they would, they're a good example of ow the Raps were trying to Go and I look forward to following Portland and the Raptors

blazers is gonna be good dis year but i doubt making the playoffs. I live in Toronto and i am a huge raptor fan. Raptors with the addition of Jermaine )'Neal will make them in the top 3 in the east. Raps will make the playoffs and will go deep trust. And i think T.J. Ford is gonna become an all-star

Its too bad not all Toronto fans making comments here aren't as classy as you. You don't have to like the Blazers, but people saying we suck is just stupid. I don't think the Raptors suck. This was a great game despite the loss for the Blazers.

Oh come on. This was a great game. Let's not ruin it. This was by far one of my favorite games this season. Besides, I think PDXMan made a lot of great objective arguments. For the first time in NBA history, a 50 win team, Denver, lost in the first round. That's how competitive the West was. If we don't judge teams on the W, then what do we judge them by? The players and the injuries? Oh come on....I can argue we'd better if James Jones wasn't injured for 30 games.
