I saw Rush totally outplay Nazareth in 1974. They see themselves as Musicians not rockstars who need their asses kissed constantly. This has helped them keep their heads screwed on. Rush puts their fans first and that is why they still sell out every concert.

BRAVO finally someone shut myndbendr up hes been commenting on rush videos for months!! hes a fucking RETARD, he pisses me off cause he doesn't know that Rush is in the top 5 bands to selling Gold and Premium Records. They are 4th... just behind 1. The Beatles 2. The Rolling Stones 3. Kiss then Rush #4 to be in the top 5 out of all bands... they must be ALOT FUCKING BETTER than what mynbendr thinks... like fuck.

Lets start with your first comment about the "2 year promotional tour" being over. They toured to support the new Studio release for one year. The Rush community kept asking for more dates, and the band decided to tour the following summer, most venues not originally on the first tour. As far as "unmelodic" music, they happen to be on their way to the Hall of Fame, and for very good reason. If you could ask your top 10 favorite bands as to their influences, I would bet 8 list Rush as one.
