The point being,(14th amend) educated people in whom we place trust and faith that they will faithfully execute the oath in which they sore to affirm screwed it up and hurt more than anything the integrity of the principles this great nation proclaims to instill.

See..I understand the video but I use the real terms for words and if your claiming to be a "person" then your not operating in God given sovereign capacity. A "person" is Latin for persona which means "the mask that an actor wears". This is also why corporations can legally call themselves "persons" because the term represents their straw man...it's all a hustle...

Article 1 section 2 Clause 3 gave "slaves" a status of 3/5th persons in order to increase the population of southern states to provide a larger number of seats in the House. Since "slaves" who were later labeled Negro..then colored...and now black were never by law considered to be citizens of the US..but were granted the right of "persons" later in the 14th amendment...they had to be GRANTED the right to vote and this has to be renewed every 20 years by Congress.

I never came across the 3/5ths rule in the Constitution in reference to 'blacks' never being considered US citizens. Sounds more or less like Jim Crow.
I suppose the Native Americans would be 2/5ths human being if that's the case. They've got it a lot worse.
But you might have a point.
I hope it's not too much to ask for but can you quote directly the source (in the Constitution) referring to the 3/5ths rule and some of it's surrounding sentences. Thank you.
No1Uknow3 (July 17, 2008 at 7:19 pm)
First..there is no such thing as a "black" person because the term black denotes 3/5ths human being and is clearly stated in the Constitution that "blacks" will NEVER be considered US citizens. The 14th amendment granted the slave chattel status "blacks" the privilege to vote and this is why it has to be passed by Congress every 20 years. So all of you that are still calling yourselves "black"...learn what your nationality really is and become sovereign on the land. Peace...

Glad you appreciate the irony. It was intentional, of course.
HerrGeneralVonBraun (June 16, 2008 at 12:48 pm)
actually... the information here was wrong
the 14th amendment wasn't brought about to free 'black' slaves... it would have specified so
the 14th amendment was suppose to free all slaves
blacks had black slaves, white slaves , and native american slaves
native americans had slaves too - which is why the majority of native americans fought on the side of the confederate army - not the union

the irony of the last minute is too funny, anti-corporation movie trying to get massive DVD sales by exploiting the collector mentality "blah blah blah" deleted scenes. LOL

According to Marx: the profit gained by the capitalist is the difference between the value of the product made by the worker and the actual wage that the worker receives; in other words, capitalism functions on the basis of paying workers less than the full value of their labor.
Some Marxian theories of imperialism extend this theory of exploitation further, positing exploitation of poor countries by rich capitalist ones (or by transnational corporations). |
