Side question-
I have numark tt500 turntables which have rounded edges so there is no plastic cover for them (that came with the turntable at least), and i was wondering what I should do. i heard its important to have a cover over the turntable to keep dust away. Also i use Serato so the vinyl stays on the turntable all the time. should i take the vinyl off when im not using it?
thanks to any help

If your mixer has phono / line level inputs then you can select between phono and line level (cd).
