Can I use Quickrete mortar mix ( the one that you just have to add water) to do a whole house in block? Or is it better to buy the mix and sand at Cemex? Thanks

I dont do alot of block work, mostly stone, but you have got your system down! Very nice technique. Those 12" are what we around here in Wisconsin call birth control.
After laying those all day, you're too tired to 'do the business' lol.
Thanks for sharing the vid!

You can go to my website to masonry faq and post your pictures on my open blog. You can also ask questions or answer other peoples questions there also.

Great to see how easy you make it look with nearly no wasted mortar too. Thanks for posting this video :)

the blocks ye use are so light , im a mason with 10 years , or most common blocks are 440 mm X 205 mm x 100 mm which would look alot smaller than what you are laying but each one weighs about 15kg .
i would love to post up a pic of some stone work ive done is this possible ? |
