I was quite sure she was Aussie. I cant believe that song actually got airplay outside of Australia, it was just horrid... seems to have gotten worse with time, too.

Yeah, I clearly remember it from my sophomore year in university (1996-97). After that the song just fell through the cracks and was never played again by any of the stations in my area.

True, this song got overplayed during the tail end of '96 on every pop station. But I actually love that carnival-like sound -- makes it unique. :-) |
