This is indeed a great song that John Farnham performed but I never would have known about this song had it not been for David Archuletta Incidently, considering his age, partially paralyzed vocal cord, etc., I think David did a very remarkable job on this song too. John had a stronger band then David did (which does help) and the "mixing" was somewhat better, however, remember,Archuletta had just turned 17 when he did this song and I think he did a GREAT job too !!!

Great song, nay, amazing song. My one hope though is that John Farnham didn't follow American Idol this year, or that no one showed him the clip of David Archuleta singing,(read:butchering), his song. If I were John, I would be offended at the mockery that DA made of his song. John Farnham could have an off night singing that song and still be miles ahead of Archuleta's rendition.

This looks SO eighties. It's a small miracle that the background singers aren't wearing shoulder pads. :) Great song. John's vocal range seems to be a bit higher than mine... pity.
