And the BFG 9000 is not a laser gun it's a cathode using a homing computer chip to track all enemies and kills them all. The computer sends a signal through the electro projectile that is fired. But if the processing is interrupted and broken (basically meaning projectile has been shot) the chip will short circuit and explode. This can cause death along with over charging of the weapon. Good power needs good responsibility.

No Halo 3 and GTA 4. Doom 3 made have made the king of human power weapons the BFG 9000 but the game is not the best. But no shit it is a good game!
