With that said, I appreciate the good heap over power metal that has sprung up, mostly from Europe, since grunge left us. However, it has yet to produce a ballad like our old ballads. They try but them plus guys like Zack Wylde just keep falling short, while posers like Stonesour only wish...

I'm basically the last child of the 80s. I'm 27. I got into music just before the 80s movement ended (it ended of course in 1992 actually). I'm so glad I did and didn't become a grunge freak. No matter how much of an oddball I was, I stuck with this music and I'm laughing now.
