Great to see footage of a young basquiat. But I don't care if they were friends O'briens little romper room show is a complete waste of JM's time. This guys hackneyed and cliched aloof "punk" affront was already outdated in 1980

yeah real anti establisment, praising blondie for having a number one hit...ha ha ha he e hee. a moment of corny 70s' realism. I know i lived through it. at least the brits could jokingly scoff at commercial success. us americans, were so fucking predictable...still are.

great video. shows so many kids trying to be arty just the same as they do today. Samo must be in an awful lot of pain listening to the shit

This was one of the first cable broadcasts in Manhattan, which makes it history, never mind GO OR JM. But then, you all sound too ignorant to know much of anything, never mind history OR art.

Out of anyone of you losers on this shit site,YouSwoon, I knew and loved my pal...so I am the onne who never answers any questions.
All I know is after buying over 50 drawings from Jean Michel and 5,or six paintings, I have put my kids through university, like he wished I would...and did...along with buying them a house, each ,cars and anything welse they required at the beginning of thier lives.I love him, miss him ,and I starved to purchse those works in the mid 80s.So,fuck-right-off! |
