that one can go either in the loop or in your chain, depending if you want to cut interference from either the preamp or your guitar. There's a new one called the Decimator G-string that can do both at once.

of course it kills part of the tone - every noise gate filters a bit, regardless of what the manual tells you. Noise Min Quan Man Nak! \m/
