This is so true. Think of how many people in the world have been so good at certain sports they play, good enough to be the best, but they just couldnt give a toss and would rather have a beer. Ive personally seen this exact situation on a golf course, with one mate who was so dedicated to be good he spent his whole life practicing. While another who was just as good, better even, would only play on the weekend and still win the club championships. You cant scorn at natural talent. |
