I was so delighted to see Tinariwen in Ithaca.
What an awesome show. My only disappointment was the lack of female singers........ none.
Guess someone had to stay home & tend the flocks : (.
Seeing them live was a dream come true for me. Now to see them at The festival in the Dessert.

The name of the song is "Amassakoul 'N' Ténéré".
(means 'traveller in the desert') You can find it on their Album named Amassakoul.
@YahyaGhamudi
They don't sing in arabic. Tinariwen use their own language Tamashaq.

dude saudi arabia is NOT in africa. go find a map... (hint: arabian peninsula, middle east)
YahyaGhamudi (May 10, 2008 at 8:47 pm)
they do have something to do with arabs, cause they live in the sahara(which is mostly sorrounded by arabic neighbors, and arabic culture) and they sing in arabic.
