Well, Brazil actualy has plans for replacing and modernizing it's F-5 but it's still undecided wich one will be bought. The favorites are SU-35, Raffale and Gripen. The chosen one should be the plane wich comes with most tecnological tranference and even with a licensed production in Brazil. Changing de subject, I like the F-5 alot. I actually live about 50Km from a Brazilian Air Force base and ocasionaly I see a formation of them flying and the modernized F-5BR is really cool.

Hummm... então, nós não temos dinheiro pra isso. O su-35 está justamente sendo visado porque eles poderiam montar uma base em brasília e de lá sair pra defender qualquer canto do Brasil. Nós não temos uma força aerea descente infelizmente. Se algum pais grnade tentar nos invadir vai aniquilar nossa força aerea em semanas.

eu tambem sou brasileiro, e eu acho que brasil nao deveria se preucupar com os paises vizinhos mas sim os maiores como os estados unidos, eu vi um jornal alemao escreveu que os estados unidos se sentem donos da amazonia e eles ate ja falaram da ipotese de tirar ela do brasil..eu nao sei nao em

Actually we did not decided what aircraft to buy yet. We don't need 5th generation fighters yet, su-35 is perfect for a country like Brazil. We need to keep our airforce leveled, at minimum, with our neighbors. Sadly I think we won't buy then.

i heard brazil ordered su-35 jets from russia, they should replace the f-5 i still think a country like brazil would need better aircrafts i mean the su-35 is not bad but i dont think it can match the top aircrafts like the the f-22 or even the su-37
