Hmm depends on how 'decent' it is.. My first Drum kit was a shitty 500 dollar peavey.. (btw the drums you mentioned are 5 piece, not 8) But for the absolute beginner set.. I'd say 500$+ I'm not able to spend a lot on drums, and right now I have a 1,400$ Pearl VSX Vision 5 piece set. With some pretty nice Zildjian Cymbals. I hardly can call my set intermediate.. But it's not bad.

What can I expect to pay for an decent 8 piece drum kit?

- hi-hat
- snare
- 3 tom toms (including floor tom)
- bass drum
- crash cymbal
- splash cymbal
- ride cymbal
this is what I would like for my first kit. maybe without the ride.

no but its a start i play real drums but im addicted to rock band. i think its great to help build the coordination with ur hands and foot. but real drums use both feet
