Not saying trails are useless but, not many people use them face it. If you like to use trails nobody is stopping you. Even 1000 videos like this on youtube wont change the government's mind. Well you can change a few people's minds but most of them go on unchanged. Trails are way betta then 1000 cows shitting in our dang streams.

docks are more important dude. 800 of our lakes are pro awesome. You cant compare a trail which like 10 ppl a year visit with a lake that thousands visit every month.

Wildlife crossings??? Is that like the wildlife crossing they put on a new highway in southern California, including expensive signs showing the animals where they can cross safely???
People are not running over wildlife...its a recreation, not an "at-any-cost" race.

The vid is ok =/ I think they should make bridges for trails to protect the water from pollution (so fish dont die). They should put wildlife crossings on some of those trails to protect the wildlife. I dont really use these trails too much. Try them in Waterton Lakes National Park, Banff, Kotteney, Yoho or Jasper; now those are awesome.

I hate when places get shut down. They blame it on the wheelers and quaders and whatnot...but mostly its all the teens on long weekends who burn their cars and leave all their garbage. Im not saying all teenagers do this, Im 17, I go to McLean Creek all the time, but I clean up after myself...and others. I always bring home full garbage bags that werent mine. And if I see anyone destroying Alberta's beautiful land by burning cars and leaving beer bottles...oh so help me god! |
