This is typical of customer service calls, especially from dumb hicks who live in the Midwest. This guy ought to be chained to a barn out in the middle of nowhere and have the hell whipped out of him!

That idiot on the phone couldn't figure out how to turn off a laptop, the guy needs to be put down for being so god dammed stupid! What the employees ask is normal procedure, they demand the employees to ask all those questions [for the Record, OBVIOUSLY].

That guy is a major asshole. If he honestly is so stupid that he could figure out how to cut the laptop off, then it's really no wonder he can't communicate like a normal person.

its just protocol. the goddamn customer doesnt have to yell at the agent, how would the agent know what to to with the device if the agent doesnt know what type of device that the cutomer has???? pathetic.

I agree with the caller - he said he tried to call them for hours and got the automated stuff when if he just got someone to talk to it would've been solved straight away and the guy did not need to know his email address at all - the customer bought something, it wouldn't work, he tried to call for help, and instead had his time wasted and was asked stupid questions (like what is your surname and phone number). This is why people hate big companies and accuse them of not caring.

Dell is deviant. I cancelled my order from Dell. They asked me if I want 2-day shipping and then told me that I would receive the computer 3 weeks later (after my order was completed). Why would I pay for 2-day shipping for a computer coming in 3 weeks? I asked and begged that to send it more quickly. The supervisor said I should cancel it, so I called back to cancel it an hour later, and they said I couldn't! Then they split the total billed so that I couldn't block payment at the bank!
