When everyone else is ending term by showing Disney DVDs I show this to my year 7s. They love it or hate it but are never indifferent and are always fascinated. Leads to great imaginative writing where for once they are allowed to end with, "then I woke up and realised that it was all a dream"!

I have never seen this until now, and I must say it is amazingly clever, imaginative, deep and interprative! I love the dream-like symbology with a hint of darkness, and the sheer imagination of incorporating the objects in the attic to the original story is brilliant (especially the taxidermied rabbit specimen!)
