Advertisers for other products that hemp/marijuana legalization might compete with such as, Big Tobacco, DuPont, alcohol companies, and Big Pharma. These companies would all lose profit if marijuana were legalized. Television companies, make A LOT of money from these guys, so they don't want to piss them off. Corporations own EVERYTHING in this country, from the media, to the FDA, to government officials, who all receive gifts/money, and/or pressure/threats from those corporations.
