okay - i agree with ChristNinjette and Shomelife. i don't use the emo style, but i like it and don't have a problem with it. emo can mean theres something wrong, but not usually God luvs us no matter what!

Okay. Emo can be a state of mind. Better yet why don't we call it what it really is. DEPRESSED. Emo is just a STYLE. Really. It is. This band wears the emo style. Big deal. Jesus loves you whether your the super churchy kid in dress pants all the time of whether your hair is long black and you wear alot of black. I'm a church kid. I love the emo style. So I'm getting my lip pierced! So lets stop this emo garbage. Really.

in my home town 2 people have commited suicide this year and this song realy helped get me through it.But do you know what the REALLY sad thing is...just recently a soon-to-be 7th grader also joined those other 2 people. THANK YOU HAWK NELSON!!!!!

yah thats true. its just hard to understand the 'emo' thing when ur not the 'emo' christian. dont get me wrong i have nuthin against the 'emo' thing... sometimes u just have questions when u dont understand

a lot of these lyrics are before they (the artist) found God, how they felt without God. Lacey of Flyleaf says herself she wrote most of her songs when she was 16 and she hadn't found God yet and she sings about how she found God and the power He had on her. SHe says it herself He saved her and the same is with most christain songs that have the "emo" or whatev you call it lyrics and sounds. and even when you know God you can stumble and you can feel alone and down.

I know its a state of mind, but normally it comes with the fashion statement. Take me for example, I'm what you would call the "emo" state of mind, but I don't normally dress it. Only because I'm not allowed to. But it's also a style of music.
