Actually this happend on May 5th.. The day after Greensburg. On the 4th also there was a highly videotaped tornado near Arnette, Ok. On the 5th I and my chase partner had 2 areas we wanted to chase but chose further north into Kansas and missed this tornado which really made me mad. This storm fired up near Shamrock, Tx and corssed into Oklaohma and hit Sweetwater. Great video

I chased that whole week. It was bad the whole week was active, saw an amazing derecho, large hail and 14 tornadoes in one week.

Your thinking of the wrong day. This tornado was the day after Greensburg (May 5th). This storm died before it even enter KS. I was chasing up near Greensburg on this day and this storm was no where near there. Get your facts straight.

eventually it did produce an ef- 5 tornado in greensburg kansas, it was a long lived super cell. but the way a tornado looks dosnt tell how strong ti is, an ef- 5 tornado could look like a rope, or it could be a massive wedge tornado, normally they look like a wedge. |
